Dreamtime Theatre

The theatre is in the goats’ barn.

The Nemoland Dreamtime Theatre is situated in the goats’ barn, and the goats are always part of the performance. Performances in the theatre bring you to the Dreamtime: a state of daydreaming in which you experience the myths and roots of your reality. No nightmares or fantasy, but living stories.

    A living space

• Screenings of films made in Nemoland about local legends and the history of our Polish village. The actors are guests, volunteers and scouts staying in Nemoland.
• An exhibition of collage art made by a Dutch artist.
• An exhibition of historical photographs of our place and the surrounding villages, telling the history of the area.
• An altar with traditional African ritual objects.

  A passage to the Dreamtime

  The Dreamtime Theatre offers you a passage to the Dreamtime through a performance with sound, light and poetry. You might experience it as a time machine that takes you to the time of myth, where you encounter the underground roots and streams of your everyday mind.

  From the theatre to Sensenta

  The performance is also intended to put you in the right mood for Sensenta: a walkabout along the hidden nature powers of Nemoland to the Oracle room, where you can find your own oracle. You are completely free to experience the performance as fun, a theatre act or a ritual. Either way, we would like to offer you a passage to another time zone and reality that is already part of yourself.
